Review of Dead Girls Dont Write Letters

I am not much of a reader; actually I try to avoid reading books as much as possible. I started reading this book called Dead Girls Don’t Write Letters by Gail Giles and I got interested in the book from the first chapter. There are two main characters in this book. The two characters are Sunny and Jazz, they are both sisters, Sunny is the younger one and Jazz is the older one. Sunny didn’t really like Jazz because she was perfect in school and popular with everyone. So, one day Jazz ran away to get an apartment in New York and Sunny became happy because her sister was no longer home.

Then couple days later there is a fire at Jazz’s apartment in New York and the family gets word that their daughter is dead however the body was never found. Everyone in the family is saddened by the news of Jazz’s death causing Sunny’s dad to increase his drinking and mom becomes very depressed. Sunny on the other hand is all alone and doesn’t have anyone to talk to about the death of her sister. Then one day when Sunny was going through the mail she finds a letter from Jazz. She opens it up and it was from Jazz and it said that she was coming home. How is that possible Jazz is dead how did she write a letter after she was dead?

This book is very suspenseful and keeps the reader guessing what’s going to happen next. I recommend this book to everyone especially anyone that like a suspenseful book. I personally loved this book and couldn’t put it down until the book ended. Also, this is a great book to read at night before you go to sleep.
